"A watch should help you feel time — not just check it."
Twelve years on, every CHRON. movement is regulated by hand in our Porto atelier. We don't outsource the movement. We don't outsource the dial. We do outsource the espresso — that's Café Forcado, two doors down.

Twelve years at the bench
Porto, one bench
Inês Mota opens the atelier above Café Forcado with a single workbench and a loupe borrowed from her grandfather.
First collection
The debut Chrono Noir launches to a limited run of 200 pieces, selling out in 11 days through word of mouth alone.
First thousand
Watch number 1,000 ships to a collector in Tokyo. The atelier grows to six watchmakers, still hand-regulating every movement.
The Noir series
CHRON. introduces the all-blacked-out Noir series — three straps, one movement, zero compromise. 12,000 sold in year one.
Forty thousand wrists
CHRON. ships to 42 countries. Zero subscriptions, zero smartwatch features, zero compromises on the movement.

Time, taught by hand.
Every CHRON. movement is regulated by hand in our Porto atelier. No screens, no notifications, no subscriptions — just a piece of mechanical honesty, ready to be wound and worn for a lifetime.
